ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਦੇਖੀ ਉਦਾਹਰਨ ਬਣਾਂਗਾ

I shall become an example the likes of which no one has ever seen
ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਣਾਂਗਾ
maiM terI kha਼usa਼I dA koI kArana baNAMgA
I shall become the sole reason for your happiness
ਇਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ, ਇਹ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਜਹਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਕੀ ਲੈਣਾ
iha lokAM, iha dunIA jahAna toM kI laiNA
What do I have to do with these people, or this entire world?
ਤੂੰ ਸਾਹਵੇਂ ਬਹਿ, ਮੈਂ ਹਵਾ ਤੋਂ ਕੀ ਲੈਣਾ

Just sit before me; what do I need from the breeze [Havaa]?
ਤੂੰ ਸਾਹਵੇਂ ਬਹਿ, ਮੈਂ ਹਵਾ ਤੋਂ ਕੀ ਲੈਣਾ

ਇਹ ਧੁੰਦਾਂ 'ਚ ਲਟਕੀ ਹੋਈ ਧੁੱਪ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਤਹਿ ਹੈ
iha dhuMdAM 'cha laTakI hoI dhuppa dI koI tahi hai
It is like a layer of sunlight suspended within the mists
ਇਹ ਤਿਤਲੀ ਦੇ ਖੰਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਪਤਲੀ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ੈਅ ਹੈ
iha titalI de khaMbha toM vI patalI koI sa਼aia hai
It is a substance even more delicate than a butterfly’s wing
ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ 'ਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ, ਇਹ ਚਾਨਣ 'ਚ ਗੁੰਦੀ
kitAbAM 'cha likhiA, iha chAnaNa 'cha guMdI
Written in the scriptures, and kneaded into the light
ਅਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖੀਏ ਮੁਹੱਬਤ ਕੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ
asIM vI tAM vekhIe muhabbata kI huMdI
Let us also witness for ourselves what love truly is
ਇਹ ਜਲਵਾ-ਏ-ਇਸ਼ਕ ਹੈ, ਅੱਗ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਦਗਦੀ
iha jalavA-e-isa਼ka hai, agga vAMgUM dagadI
This is the splendor of love [Ishq], smoldering like a fire
ਇਹ ਇਸ਼ਕ 'ਚ ਸੱਟ ਵੀ ਸੁਹੱਪਣ ਹੀ ਲੱਗਦੀ
iha isa਼ka 'cha saTTa vI suhappaNa hI laggadI
In love, even a wound feels like a thing of beauty
ਮੈਂ ਹੁਣ ਵਿਚ ਸਮਾਇਆ, ਸਦਾ ਤੋਂ ਕੀ ਲੈਣਾ
maiM huNa vicha samAiA, sadA toM kI laiNA
I am now immersed in this moment; what do I care for eternity?

Since I found you, the customs of the world have been forsaken
ਇੱਕੋ ਦਮ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਹੀ ਚਸ਼ਮੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਫੁੱਟ ਪਏ
ikko dama haja਼ArAM hI chasa਼me jihe phuTTa pae
Suddenly, thousands of springs have burst forth within me
ਮੈਂ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਕਿਫ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ

Until now, I was a stranger to these realizations
ਬੜੇ ਸ਼ੌਕ ਨਾਲ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ

Life was moving along with its own simple pleasures

But now I have placed both feet upon the burning flames

I have gathered all the seven seas within my arms
