ਅਧੂਰੀ ਸੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਰਾਤੇਂ ਹੈਂ
adhUrI sI sArI rAteM haiM
All these nights feel so incomplete
ਤੇਰੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ

Without you, without you
ਔਰ ਆਸਮਾਂ ਮੇਂ ਜੋ ਤਾਰੇ ਹੈਂ
aura AsamAM meM jo tAre haiM
And like the stars scattered across the sky
ਤੂ ਵੈਸੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਮੇਂ ਸਜਾ ਹੈ

ye tAre jo aba TUTeM toM
Now if these stars were to fall and break
ਇਨ ਖ਼ਵਾਹਿਸ਼ੋਂ ਮੇਂ ਤੂ ਹੀ ਰਹਾ ਹੈ
ina kha਼vAhisa਼oM meM tU hI rahA hai
You are the only one who remains in these desires
ਔਰ ਮਿਸ਼ਰੀ ਸੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਬਾਤੇਂ ਯੇ

You gently tease and pick playful quarrels
ਨਾ ਜਾਨੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਫਿਰ ਆ ਕੇ ਤੂ

I know not why you then return
ਮੁਝੇ ਹੀ ਜਾਨਾ ਕਸ ਕੇ ਪਕੜਤੀ ਹੈ
mujhe hI jAnA kasa ke paka.DatI hai
To hold me so tightly, my love
ਤੇਰਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੂੰ
