E Doye Naina

by Babbu Maan

e doi naiNA mati Chuho
O crow, do not touch these two eyes
pira dekhana kI Asa
For they still hold the hope of beholding my Beloved
e doi naiNA mati Chuho
O crow, do not touch these two eyes
pira dekhana kI Asa
For they still hold the hope of beholding my Beloved
kAgA karaMga DhaMDholiA
The crow has searched through my skeletal remains
kAgA karaMga DhaMDholiA
The crow has searched through my skeletal remains
sagalA khAiA mAsu
And has consumed every bit of my flesh
e doi naiNA mati Chuho
O crow, do not touch these two eyes
pira dekhana kI Asa
For they still hold the hope of beholding my Beloved
e doi naiNA
These two eyes
e doi naiNA
These two eyes

Why wander from head to toe in search? Look for the Beloved within
