ਬੈਠੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਤਾਰੇ ਸੋਹਣੀਏ ਉੱਠਣ ਨਾ

May the stars stay seated, beautiful one, and never rise to leave
ਤੂੰ ਵੀ ਨੈਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨੈਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਾ ਕੇ ਰੱਖੀਂ ਸੋਹਣੀਏ

ਐਸੇ ਬੁਣਾਂਗੇ ਨੀ ਖ਼ਾਬ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਟੁੱਟਣ ਨਾ
