ਮੈਂ ਜਦ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰ 'ਤੇ ਪਾਈ ਫੇਰੀ

The head You never let bow in shame, let me lay it only at Your feet
ਤੇਰਾ ਤੁਝ ਕੋ ਸੌਂਪ ਕੇ ਦਾਤਾ ਦੱਸ ਕਿਆ ਲਾਗੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਾਲਕਾ

ਕੌਮ ਲਈ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਾਰ ਜੇ ਐਡੇ ਜਿਗਰੇ ਦਾ ਹੋਰ ਨਾ ਕੋਈ
kauma laI parivAra vAra je aiDe jigare dA hora nA koI
One who sacrificed his family for the nation; no one else possesses such a heart

ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਤ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਚਾਰ ਮੋਏ ਜੇ ਫਿਰ ਕੀ ਹੋਇਆ
