The victors announce their victory today with a thunderous roar
ਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਆਏ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਨੇ੍ਹਰ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਦੇ
te cha.Dha ke Ae dA pUrA nehara baMnhade
They completely block the path of those who come to attack
ਕਿਰਤੀ ਵੀ ਪੂਰੇ ਤੇ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਪੱਕੇ
kiratI vI pUre te niyamAM de vI pakke
They are true laborers and firm in their codes of conduct
ਜਾਬਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਨਹੀਓਂ ਈਨ ਮੰਨਦੇ
jAbara agge nahIoM Ina maMnade
They never accept the sovereignty of an [Zaalma: Oppressor]
ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਫ਼ਤਿਹ ਕਰਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੋਪ ਬਣਦੇ

They become cannons to conquer fortresses
ਮੌਤ ਬਣਦੇ ਆ ਨਹੀਓਂ ਟੋਟ ਬਣਦੇ

ਇਹਨਾਂ ਮੂਹਰੇ ਚੱਲੇ ਵਿੰਗ ਨਾ ਧੜਿੰਗ ਜੀ

Neither trickery nor force works against them
ਕਦੇ ਹਾਰ ਨਹੀਓਂ ਮੰਨਦੇ

They are the beloved sons of Guru Gobind Singh, and thus they are unparalleled
ਚੱਕਰ ਦੁਮਾਲੇ ਪੱਗਾਂ ਕੇਸਰੀ ਕਮਾਲ ਹੈਂ
chakkara dumAle paggAM kesarI kamAla haiM
The [Chakkar: sharp circular throwing weapon] on their [Dumalla: a high, layered style of turban] and saffron turbans look magnificent
ਜਿਗਰ ਜਨੂਨੀ ਜਿਓਂ ਪਤਾਲ ਮੇਂ ਭੁਚਾਲ ਹੈਂ
jigara janUnI jioM patAla meM bhuchAla haiM
Their hearts are filled with a passion like an earthquake in the underworld
ਜੀ ਸ਼ਸਤਰ ਅਧੀਨ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਕੇ ਤਾਲ ਹੈਂ
jI sa਼satara adhIna isa dunIA ke tAla haiM
The rhythm of this world is governed by their weapons
ਬੀਜੀ ਜੋ ਵੈਰੀ ਦੀ ਵੱਢਣਾ ਜਾਣਦੇ
bIjI jo vairI dI vaDDhaNA jANade
They know how to harvest the enmity that the foe has sown
ਯੋਧੇ ਸ਼ਮਸ਼ੀਰਾਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਹਿੱਕ ਤਾਣਦੇ
yodhe sa਼masa਼IrAM agge hikka tANade
These warriors puff out their chests before the swords
ਹੋ ਗਰਮ ਖਿਆਲੀ ਰਹਿਣ ਤਿਆਰ-ਬਰ-ਤਿਆਰ
ho garama khiAlI rahiNa tiAra-bara-tiAra
They stay [Tiyar-bar-Tiyar: Ever-ready; a Khalsa term for being constantly prepared for battle]
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੀਰ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਾਲ ਦਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਕਮਾਨ ਦੇ
jiveM tIra hove kAla dA vichcha pai kamAna de
Like the arrow of death resting within the bow
ਜਿਹੜਾ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆ ਫੇਰ ਨਾ ਟਲੇ
jiha.DA ikka vAra varhiA phera nA Tale
The one who strikes once never falters again
ਦੂਜੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਮੂਹਰੇ ਕੱਢਦਾ ਏ ਡੰਗ ਜੀ
dUjI vArI mUhare kaDDhadA e DaMga jI
The second time, he draws out the very sting of the enemy

ਸਵਾ ਲੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਇਕੱਲਾ-ਇਕੱਲਾ ਲੜੇ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ
savA lakkha nAla ikallA-ikallA la.De kha਼AlasA
Each individual [Khalsa: the collective body of initiated Sikhs] fights against 125,000 foes
ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਦੀ ਹਿੱਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ
ja਼ulama dI hikka utte cha.Dhe kha਼AlasA
The [Khalsa] tramples over the chest of tyranny
ਜਿੱਥੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੋਈ ਉੱਥੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ
jitthe kha.DhadA nahIM koI utthe kha.Dhe kha਼AlasA
Where no one else dares to stand, the [Khalsa] stands firm
ਭਾਣਾ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਤੇ ਬੱਸ ਉਹਦੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਡਰਦੇ
bhANA maMnade te bassa uhade koloM Darade
They submit only to the Divine Will and fear only Him
ਚੰਗੀ ਮੰਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਏ ਪਰਦੇ
chaMgI maMdI utte uhI rakkhadA e parade
He is the one who veils their flaws and virtues alike
ਪੱਕੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੌਲਾਂ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਜਾ ਮਰਦੇ
pakke bachanAM de kaulAM pichChe jA marade
They are men of their word who would die for their promise
ਵਾਕੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਆ ਸਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਾਣੀ ਕਰਦੇ
vAke karade A sArI sa਼ANI karade
They perform [Vaka: historic feats of bravery] and cleanse the world of evil
ਰਾਹ ਔਖੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਢੇ
rAha aukhe rAhAM de vichcha kaMDhe
The paths are difficult, filled with thorns
ਤਾਹੀਂ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦੇ ਝੂਲਦੇ ਝੰਡੇ
tAhIM siMghAM de jhUlade jhaMDe
That is why the flags of the [Singh] fly so high
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀਆਂ ‘ਚ ਨਾਮ
pahilAM AuMdA kurabAnIAM ‘cha nAma
Their name comes first in the list of sacrifices
ਤਾਹੀਂ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰੇ ਸੁਲਤਾਨ
tAhIM usatata kare sulatAna
That is why [Sultaan: Self-reference to the artist/rapper] sings their praises
ਸਿੰਘ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਰਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ
siMgha phirade raNAM de vichcha bukade nahIM
The [Singh] roam the battlefields and never back down
ਜਾਮ ਪੀ ਲੈਣ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਪਰ ਰੁਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ
jAma pI laiNa sa਼hIdI para rukade nahIM
They drink the nectar of martyrdom but never stop
ਮੁੱਲ ਸਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਵਾ ਲਏ ਪਰ ਝੁਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ
mulla sirAM de pavA lae para jhukade nahIM
They let prices be put on their heads, but they never bow
ਪੱਤਾ ਪੱਤਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਮੁੱਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ
pattA pattA vairI tAM vI mukkade nahIM
Though the enemy hunted them leaf by leaf, they were never finished
ਹੌਸਲੇ ਬੁਲੰਦ ਮੇਖੀਂ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਤੇ ਗੱਡ
hausale bulaMda mekhIM mAra ke te gaDDa
With high spirits, they have driven their stakes deep and firm
ਦੂਜਾ ਸਬਰ ਸੰਤੋਖ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੱਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਆ
dUjA sabara saMtokha valloM pakke hoe A
Secondly, they are perfected in the virtues of patience and contentment
ਕੌਮ ਦੇ ਗੱਦਾਰ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਸੋਧੇ ਸ਼ੇਰਾਂ ਨੇ
kauma de gaddAra kiMne sodhe sa਼erAM ne
The lions have brought many traitors of the community to justice
ਹੋਰ ਐਵੇਂ ਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੇਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੱਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਆ
hora aiveM tAM nahIM jelhAM vichcha Dakke hoe A
It isn't for nothing that they are locked behind these bars
ਹੋ ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਏ ਮੁੱਢ ਤੋਂ ਵੰਗਾਰਦੇ

They have been challenging the enemy since the beginning of time

They adorn their turbans with tassels of honor
ਹੁੰਦੀ ਕੌਮ ਦੇ ਲੇਖੇ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਿੰਦ ਜੀ
huMdI kauma de lekhe yodhiAM dI jiMda jI
The lives of these warriors are dedicated to the [Panth: the Sikh community/nation]
