One day a crow sat upon my terrace and began to share in my sorrow
ਵਿਛੜੇ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਆਖ ਸੁਨੇਹੜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉੱਡ ਜਾਵਣ ਲੱਗਾ
viCha.De dA koI Akha suneha.DA nahIM te maiM uDDa jAvaNa laggA
"Is there no message from your beloved, or should I take flight?" he asked
ਪਾ ਚੂਰੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਮਾਹੀ ਮੇਲ ਇੰਝ ਕਸਮਾਂ ਪਾਵਣ ਲੱਗਾ
