ਮੇਰੀ ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਰੱਖੇ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਆਉਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਨੂੰ ਰੁਪਈਆ ਚੋਰੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਓ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਰੱਖੇ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਆਉਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਨੂੰ ਰੁਪਈਆ ਚੋਰੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਿਸ ਹਾਲ 'ਚ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਉਹਨੂੰ ਉਹਦੇ ਜਜ਼ਬਾਤ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਧੀ ਐ ਕਿ ਨਹੀਂ ਇਕੱਲੀ ਮਾਂ ਪੁੱਛਦੀ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਡਾਲਰ ਕਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਧੀ ਐ ਕਿ ਨਹੀਂ ਇਕੱਲੀ ਮਾਂ ਪੁੱਛਦੀ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਡਾਲਰ ਕਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ ਹੱਲਾਸ਼ੇਰੀ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਵਿਖਾਉਂਦੀ ਝੂਠਾ ਹੱਸ ਕੇ ਪਤਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਰੋਂਦੀ ਹੋਊ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਫ਼ੋਨ ਕੱਟ ਕੇ ਹੱਲਾਸ਼ੇਰੀ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਵਿਖਾਉਂਦੀ ਝੂਠਾ ਹੱਸ ਕੇ ਪਤਾ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਰੋਂਦੀ ਹੋਊ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਫ਼ੋਨ ਕੱਟ ਕੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਦੇਸਾਂ ਪੁੱਤ ਸੁੱਤਾ ਕੇ ਨੀ ਸੁੱਤਾ ਰਾਤੀਂ ਜਾਗਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਬਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਧੀ ਐ ਕਿ ਨਹੀਂ ਇਕੱਲੀ ਮਾਂ ਪੁੱਛਦੀ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਡਾਲਰ ਕਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਧੀ ਐ ਕਿ ਨਹੀਂ ਇਕੱਲੀ ਮਾਂ ਪੁੱਛਦੀ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਡਾਲਰ ਕਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਕੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਲਿਆਵੇਂਗਾ ਪਰ ਅੰਮੀ ਪੁੱਛੇ ਪੁੱਤਾ ਘਰ ਕਦੋਂ ਆਵੇਂਗਾ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਕੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਲਿਆਵੇਂਗਾ ਪਰ ਅੰਮੀ ਪੁੱਛੇ ਪੁੱਤਾ ਘਰ ਕਦੋਂ ਆਵੇਂਗਾ ਇੱਕ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਾਂ ਜਿਹਨੂੰ ਦਿਲੋਂ ਐ ਫ਼ਿਕਰ ਬਾਕੀ ਹਾਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਲਾਲਚਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ ਉਹ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਧੀ ਐ ਕਿ ਨਹੀਂ ਇਕੱਲੀ ਮਾਂ ਪੁੱਛਦੀ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਡਾਲਰ ਕਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ ਰੋਟੀ ਖਾਧੀ ਐ ਕਿ ਨਹੀਂ ਇਕੱਲੀ ਮਾਂ ਪੁੱਛਦੀ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਡਾਲਰ ਕਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ
