ਭਾਵੇਂ ਆਇਤਾਂ ਪੜ੍ਹ ਲੈ ਵੇ
bhAveM AitAM pa.Dha lai ve
Whether you recite the [Ayats: verses of the Holy Quran]
ਭਾਵੇਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ
bhAveM gurU nAnaka dI bANI
Or the [Bani: sacred hymns/word] of Guru Nanak
ਉਸ ਇੱਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਾਤਾਂ ਨੇ
usa ikka dIAM bAtAM ne
They are all discourses of that One Supreme
ਉਹਦੇ ਇਸ਼ਕ ਦੀ ਐ ਕਹਾਣੀ
uhade isa਼ka dI ai kahANI
It is all the story of His divine love
ਉਸ ਇੱਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਾਤਾਂ ਨੇ

Are but the arrival of His [Raza: divine will/pleasure]

ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਲਝੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ
sAnUM ulajhe hoiAM nUM
To us who are so entangled in confusion
ਅਸਲ ਰਾਹ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾ ਦੇ
asala rAha dharamAM dA pA de
Show us the true path of righteousness
ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਲਝੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ
sAnUM ulajhe hoiAM nUM
To us who are so entangled in confusion
ਅਸਲ ਰਾਹ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾ ਦੇ

Show us the true path of righteousness
ਦਿਲ ਨਿਵਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਵਸ ਜਾਵੇ
dila nivAja਼isa਼ vasa jAve
May a heart of grace and kindness dwell within
ਸਭ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਪੀਰ ਪੈਗੰਬਰ
sabha sAMjhe pIra paigaMbara
